EDC

Everyday Carry, or EDC, generally refers to small items or gadgets worn, carried, or made available in pockets, holsters, or bags on a daily basis to manage common tasks or for use in unexpected situations or emergencies. In a broader sense, it is a lifestyle, discipline, or philosophy of preparedness.

EDC VS JAWNZ: A CAUTIONARY TALE
Editor’s Note: If you happen to pocket-clip carry any sort of pen or marker, especially in a tip-up configuration (or where the clip is on the cap), please remember to secure the cap before clipping in! I lent my Stainless Steel Sharpie out during lab and had it returned to me with the cap loose. I was sitting down at a microscope and reached for my marker when I saw it leaked through -_-… Even with heavy treatment of my Tide to Go pen, isopropyl alcohol, hairspray, paper towels, lots of pressing and a warm wash (the above picture is post-wash), I couldn’t undo the damage. In hindsight it could have been worse — if it somehow leaked in a tip-down carry, the stain would’ve been all over my lower thigh and not up by the pocket, hidden by my shirt. Anyway, this is a first world problem.
Editor’s Note 2: On the bright side, I guess I just murdered out my 3sixteens. #kanyeshrug
