Everyday Carry, or EDC, generally refers to small items or gadgets worn, carried, or made available in pockets, holsters, or bags on a daily basis to manage common tasks or for use in unexpected situations or emergencies. In a broader sense, it is a lifestyle, discipline, or philosophy of preparedness.
Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor

My little brother recently got me into watches, but our dad has always had the best watch in the house. It was left by my grandfather who passed when my dad was still young. He’ll pass this down to either my brother or me (whoever doesn’t get this one will get a DateJust I think). He wears this 1979 Rolex GMT Master (in the colorway of his favorite drink) every day. As you can see by the scratches on the crystal, this is no shelf queen. It gets a lot of love and a lot of abuse, but it just shows that my dad wears it hard and wears it with pride. He’s right handed but always wears the watch on his right hand. He told me that in the Philippines, if you were driving with your window down (which I imagine you’d have to do in that kind of weather), desperate peasant status people would try to rip it off your left wrist if you weren’t careful.
Anyway, I hope you guys had a nice Father’s Day!
